We came to La Grille after being rejected by a waiter down the street. What a complete reversal. Great greeting. Able to sit immediately. Great menu selection. Great wait staff. If you're from the US, you'll be welcome in this place.

Just came here for a drinks waiting for an appointment at the Apple store but the people next to me got a few appetizers that looked good. The beers were cold and fresh, from what my friend said. I got the Moscow Mule and it was pretty perfect. Could do without the garnishes but it looked pretty.

One Star is one star too much for this excuse for a restaurant. I ordered the steak and fries and my wife ordered the chicken and fries. My steak was tasteless and tough. It was tough to cut and tougher to chew. The fries had to be frozen. My wife's chicken was tasteless. I'm not even going to go into the salad. When I complained about the steak the waiter tried to blame it on me (go figure that I'm responsible for a tough piece of meat) and offered us coffee as a peace offering. I refused. Don't waste your time or money in this place. First bad meal I've had in Paris in my several visits.  This experience cost us $48 €.

Nice location but horrible food experience.
We recently spent five days in Paris and stumbled upon La Grille Vintage in Saint Germain.  Our server who I think was the Manger was pleasant.  We ordered a french onion soup and an order of guacamole tortillas.
The french onion soup was sour and tasted like it was made from vinegar.  The guacamole was not fresh and the chips were stale.  After several bites we asked for the bill and left as it was too horrible to finish.  The server did not ask if anything was wrong even though it was obvious we barely touched our food.  We left very disappointed.  I would not recommend this place.

This is the nicest bar and cafe with a great selection of wines and specialty drinks. The atmosphere is amazing with leather couches, very warm and cozy.Thomas and Jeremy are so friendly and hospitable, my new favorite place to have a leisurely glass of wine.
